1. Prior to admittance, a potential resident must be willing to make a commitment to complete any available program, which at minimum will be three months.
2. Prior to admittance, a potential resident must read and be willing to adhere to all the policies and procedures of Oransteps of Hope Homes.
3. An intake interview will be held with any potential residents to determine the final decision of acceptance into Oransteps of Hope program.
4. Prior to admittance, a potential resident must read and sign the policy- acknowledgement form.
5. Accepted residents to the ORANSOH home will be required to apply for any qualifying program available for them.
6. Prior to admittance, a potential resident must contribute a one-time $XXXXX admission fee.
7. No cursing, vulgar language, offensive slang, name-calling, or bullying of any form.
8. Do not glory in past addictions.
9. Keep your hands to yourself, there should never be any reason to physically touch anyone else.
10. Oransoh will not allow dating, cordial greeting of Hello is highly encouraged, this includes communication in the form of letters, phone call social media or texts.
11. Keep your feet off furniture and walls.
12. Residents are responsible to cover the cost of restoring damaged property caused intentionally or unintentionally and are also subject to a $200 fine for vandalism.
13. Oransoh home residents may not take pre-workout weight-lifting supplements.
14. All Medicine must be kept in the office in the secured (locked) equipment.
15. Loud sounds recognized by others as disturbing is not allowed “if I can feel it, you should feel it”.
16. Music or preaching recordings should be played at a volume that is not audible outside of the room.
17. Resident must get a pass to go out and return at the speculated time,
18. A Urine and breath test are conducted randomly and always when residents go out or return into the house.
19. Lights out means every person are in their rooms, unless they are going directly to the washroom to use the facilities and going directly back into their rooms. (This excludes washing dishes, brushing teeth, showering, filling water bottles, emptying trash cans, etc.)
20. Residents are not allowed to “hang out” in front of the Oransoh home not to inconvenience the neighbor. Stay indoors.
21. Passes should be turned in for approval at least one full day in advance. Saturday through Monday passes should be turned in by Thursday.
22. Residents will be assigned duties and required work from 9 AM to 3 PM. Assignments will be posted on the Notice board daily.
23. Everyone is a volunteer to get things done in and around the home. (Team players). Work will be done willingly and cheerfully, without complaining in good spirit and attitude.
